SCENAR stands for Self Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulator

The SCENAR is an electro-bio-controlled device ideal for pain management in various functional and pathological processes. It is used to alleviate pain and facilitate functional restoration and improvement. It is known to give great relief from any type of pain.

SC = Self controlled. The SCENAR device establishes a biofeedback link with the body when in news, constantly changing the properties of the applied electric impulses, depending on the measured reaction from the body.

EN = Energo-Neuro. The effect of SCENAR is based on electric impulses of a specific shape; patterned after the natural nervous discharges of the human body.

SCENAR Background and History

Development of RITM SCENAR Devices and therapy started in 1980, as part of the Russian National Program of space research to develop methods and means of correction of a psycho physiological state of healthy people (astronauts, pilots, only athletes, etc)

In 1990 the USSR Health Care Ministry officially approve the technology to be used in the national care system. In 1999 RITM SCENAR Devices were manufactured in Europe. In 2006 SCENAR Devices became available worldwide.

Using SCENAR

The most unique characteristic of SCENAR is that it can induce changes in the parameters of its impulse automatically and in accordance with the body’s response to the device. While conventional therapeutic devices are passive, SCENAR involves active reflex biofeedback, which means that the device communicates actively with the processes that are happening in the body. The SCENAR Device does this by monitoring the skin’s impedance and then changes the electric impulse it is sending out in accordance with the changes in the skin’s impedance. Therefore active reflex biofeedback means that maximum therapeutic effectiveness can be achieved.

This active interaction is set up to prompt the body to identify and harmonise areas called ‘active points’. The active points can include stickiness (the device will have a feeling of being magnetically dragged on the skin).

The RTM SCENAR Sport device is a transdermal triple-mode electro stimulator with individual dosing function. It is intended for delivering general therapeutic non-invasive treatment to the body’s physiological systems via skin areas, in order to affect pain management and pain relief, treat physical dysfunction and restore function.

SCENAR treatment sessions should not exceed 45 minutes to any specific area of the body. There should be a minimum of 2 hour between treatment sessions to avoid skin irritation.
